General Summary:
This is an Operations position responsible for selecting merchandise and preparing orders for shipping as directed under general supervision.
An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
* Ability to read, write, and understand English.
* Basic arithmetic skills.
* Good physical stamina.
Essential Duties:(essential functions are in bold)
* Physically pulls orders from the cooler and freezer using pallet jack or forklift.
* Verifies accuracy against of orders.
* Marks boxes/pallets for route and stop designation.
* Reboxing of product.
* Wraps pallets by hand to insure stability.
* Restock and put product away carefully and safely in the cooler and freezer.
* Operates forklifts and mechanical jacks throughout the plant constantly in a safe manner.
* Complies with all safety regulations and standards.
* Responsible for the cleanliness of all cooler, freezer and dry storage areas.
* Responsible for participating in monthly inventory as required.
Basic Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
