Job Description – Senior Tax Accountant
PrideStaff Financial, a national recruiting firm specializing in accounting and financial positions, is seeking qualified Senior Tax candidates to work for small to mid-size CPA firms. The Senior Tax Accountants will be responsible for a variety of corporate clients and high net worth individuals including federal and multi-state, trusts, stock options, etc. Both seasonal (temporary) and full time positions are currently being recruited.
Job Responsibilities – Senior Tax Accountant
- Prepare Federal and State Income Tax returns for individuals, LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps
- Review/Analyze prior year’s tax filings for accuracy
- Meet with clients to obtain additional information on taxable income, deductible expenses and allowances
- Meet and discuss income tax results and filing procedures with clients
- Advise clients on the full spectrum of tax amenities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance expected; CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of public tax experience preparing returns for individuals, LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps
- Provision experience is a plus
- Knowledge in using additional tax resources for research is important
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and tax software is expected
- Time management and organizational skills are a must
- Strong oral and written skills with full command of the English language are critical for success

- $65,000-$80,000/yr (permanent position)
- $25 - $35/hr (seasonal temp position)
