Purpose and Scope:To take product from design through development to stock approval.Key Responsibilities:Attend seasonal design handoff with Product Managers, Technical and Senior Product ManagersReview hand off to ensure information received from Design is accurate and completeSet up all tech packs in Web for data entryWork with Fabric, Trim and Technical team on all data entry aspects of the tech packReview all tech packs for accuracyComplete all data in the tech packs for shipping, handling and wash detailing and make sure that the manual is referred to for accurate production informationSend out all Tech Packs to vendors for sales sample development and costingTrack Prototype receipt and update tracking chart accordinglyAttend prototype and fitting reviews and update fit notes into RLPD History chart and publish notesAttend line reviews and update all style notes into RLPD History chart and publish notesAttend FittingsWork with Design and Merchandising to finalize any outstanding issues or changes madeCreate and maintain sales sample purchase orders in SAPRecord and track all sales sample receipts in SAPReview all incoming samples for accuracy in executionRevert back to offshore offices and vendor base in regard to any incorrect garment executionsWork with Design and Merchandising to finalize any outstanding issues or changes madeTrack and deliver fit samples for Technical to fit for bulk approvalReceive all artwork submits from vendors, log and forward to Design for approvalCommunication with offshore offices and vendors for submit updatesCommunicate with vendors on any questions or concerns in regard to Design commentsWork with Vendors Design and Technical to ensure approval deadlines are metLiaise between Product Development, Design, Technical Design, Merchandising and international vendorsMake sure all prices are entered and locked in Movex with correct warehouse, factory , and duty rateForward samples to merchandising for showroom and rig roomWork with testing team to set up all styles for test approval in TDCRCollect all HTS code data and input codes for each style at close out of seasonReview all tech packs for completion and accuracy before production send out Qualifications:Four year college degree preferred2years of experience preferredKnowledge of fabric, basic garment construction and fitMust be self- motivatedExcellent attention to details and strong organizational skillsGood communication skills, including e-mailComputer Knowledge Ralph Lauren is an equal opportunity employer.
