Currently seeking a physical designer to work as a Substation Designer in the Substation Department of the Power Delivery Division for an EPC in San Diego, CA office.
Responsibilities
* The position includes working individually within a team to complete complex and technically challenging aspects of electrical utility substation design.
* Support all aspects of MV / HV / EHV substation design from 12 kV to 500 kV.
* Understand substation components and develop substation layouts, elevations and sections, material lists, etc.
AEP knowledge a plus.
Supporting drafting, not 100% of time design.
Experience working w/ consultant a plus.
5+ years substation and Microstation and Physical a must. 3D is preferred but will take 1 & 2.
