Description
Transport Driver
The Transport position is domiciled in Ottumwa, Iowa. We operate day cabs 5 days a week, 24 hours a day, Monday thru Friday. You will start your day and end your day at our Ottumwa Iowa Facility.
Transport Drivers are responsible for delivering product to our distribution centers in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, and Nebraska, and returning with backhauls. You will be required, when necessary, to unload our palletized finished goods. Forklift training and certifications will be provided by Dr Pepper Snapple Group.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform detailed Pre and Post Trip Vehicle inspections and operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner. Safety is our number one priority.
- Maintain DOT time log and other required transport documentation.
- Deliver finished goods to our Company owned warehouses and unload palletized product if required.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings.
Pay
$.37/mile, $12.70/hour for downtime, and $3.50 for a trailer drop or hook ($7.00 for a drop and hook combination).
Schedule
Start times are permanent and do not change from day to day.

- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- 21 years of age or older
- 1 year verifiable CDL A driving Experience
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and driver’s license
