Chief Operating Officer COO

A rapidly expanding Southern California Physician Owned Medical Group is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee all non clinical operations and growth.

The Medical Group Chief Operating Officer will report to the Partners and Board of Directors, and will be instrumental in the growth and success of the company. The Chief Operating Officer will be supported by 2 Nurse Managers, Surgery Center Administrator, Director of Operations and numerous clinical and non clinical leads.

The COO will be responsible for oversee the day to day activities of multiple cost centers: 3 suite ambulatory surgery center, stand alone wound care center, a GI practice, numerous physician owned private practices. The Chief Operating Officer will also be instrumental in the building and opening of a 4 suit Ambulatory Surgery Center, scheduling to open Spring 2017.

The VP of Operations Medical Group will be responsible for all activities throughout the company, and will work hand in hand with the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

The position ensures the efficient operation of the clinics and other practice locations as well as all supporting infrastructure. The position is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures, systems and budgets. Maintaining excellent interpersonal relations with physicians, staff, and colleagues is critical for this position.
