PACU Peri Anesthesia Registered Nurse

An excellent new nursing opportunity is now available for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit PACU of a dedicated community hospital located in sunny Southern California.

The Recovery Room Staff Nurse will join an acute care hospital organization that has become a staple in the lives of this diverse and expansive region, which accommodates and cares for a population of roughly 100,000 residents. This facility has been serving the surrounding community for nearly 50 years and gives back through an impressive and highly comprehensive community outreach and wellness program that include fairs, educational tours, and visits to local schools.

The Perianesthesia PACU Registered Nurse will play an integral role in ensuring the highest level of health for this dynamic population through the direct care of patients. They will work with a team of 15 to 25 fellow nurses in the PACU and OR to deliver high-quality and compassionate care to those recovering from advanced and high-tech surgical procedures. They will oversee a patient volume of roughly 30 cases per month in General Surgery, Obstetrics, ENT, and Laparoscopy.
