About this job

The candidate will be responsible for answering inbound calls from customers. They will take less calls than the average department, around 15-30 but calls will be longer than other departments. Each call can vary in time length depending on issues. They will be in charge of entering orders via phone, fax, or email. They will be processing credits/debits and returns for warranty. Regular communication with team/supervisor which would include status of entry tasks, problems, complaints and all departmental or company issues related to customer service.

This line of business is specific to shutters so there are a lot of technical questions they will be asking customers placing orders. They will be cross trained into 5 lines of business eventually so they can assist when people go on vacations.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $12-13/hr (based on experience)

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center environment
  • Experience in home improvement and measurement customer service (i.e. Home Depot or Lowes)
