Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Environmental Services/Custodial Manager at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. The position is responsible for the second shift hospital areas (2:30pm start time) . Nebraska Medicine is a world class teaching hospital affiliated with University Hospital, one of the premium showcase facilities served by Sodexo. The incumbent for this role should be prepared for leadership of 25 employees assigned to cleaning inpatient and outpatient areas to include floor care of the hospital. We are seeking someone with health care experience, hospitality leadership experience, and or similar successful work history leading teams of people to improve quality, customer services, and employee/patient engagement. The incumbent is expected to perform Sodexo systems and operations within company policy and engage our customers with responsiveness at all times. 

The preferred candidate for this position will have solid knowledge of Sodexo ES Systems and processes including TRAKKAR, UOS, Gold Check, ENGAGE and Black Light inspections. High energy for a fast paced environment. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role.  This is a day shift opportunity and the Custodial/Housekeeping  Manager will be required to participate in a rotational "on call" schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays.

Position Summary

Supervises hourly staff providing custodial service to client. Responsible for work force planning, Quality Assurance training and administrative functions for designated area. Typically reports to General Manager or Operations Manager.
