General Responsibilities
- Creating a fun, enthusiastic, inviting & warm environment
- Daily operations of the restaurant.
- Provide Leadership - must be a role model with strong leadership skills as it relates to training, coaching and corrective action
- Provide ongoing development of all team members
- Drive Sales - identify local opportunities to increase sales and provide excellent guest service to ensure repeat and growing business
- Establish daily, weekly and monthly store goals
- Control Costs of food, labor and beverage -budget, inventory, catering and ordering, cut waste
- Provide excellent food & beverage standards consistently - we pride ourselves on the quality of our food & beverages, the manager is responsible for ensuring it meets the highest standards and are always recipe adherent
- Knowledge of all hourly roles in both FOH & BOH
- Oversight of all areas of the restaurant in both FOH & BOH
- Experience in interview and "right-fit" selection, with strong background in training
- Experience in performance evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employees and giving effective feedback
- Experience in managing other managers
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work load in a deadline driven, demanding environment.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills including POS, Inventory, Scheduling, Employment and Cost Control applications.
- Team Work - bring employees together and motivate them to provide an excellent customer experience consistently
- Ensure policies and procedures are enforced & upheld at all times
- Respond to customer complaints rapidly; ensuring positive resolution
- Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times
- Responsible for cash control in compliance with company policy
- Be proactive in reaching store & company goals in sales, service, appearance; while creating a positive, fun and productive working environment
- Ensure the security and safety of the restaurants guests and employees
Job Requirements
- Good tenure at previous employers
- 3+ years of Restaurant Management experience in a fast-past environment
- Success in leading teams of 20+ employees
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
