POSITION SUMMARY:
* Ensure compliance with all Product Safety Procedure requirements; fully understands and ensures compliance with Product Safety Escalation Process.
* Understands Critical Characteristics/Special Characteristics in terms of: controlling the characteristic using appropriate tools to ensure capability and stability of the process and product; the potential outcome if the characteristic is not in specification and the liability to the company if a defective part gets into the field.
* Completing process studies on manufacturing assembly equipment.
* Creation internal documentation associated with manufacturing, learning the processes.
* Complete gage R&R on all measurements systems
* Working with test engineering to validate current processes and components.
* Active involvement in and support of quality related initiatives and Advanced Quality Planning for the Distribution business
* The design, installation and evaluation of quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques to support the Distribution business.
* The development and maintenance of customer quality related initiatives including quality assurance policies and procedures, employee training and customer specific requirements.
* Establishment and maintenance of customer quality metrics for the S-Cam and ADB business
* Drive the reduction of external non-conformances.
