The Utilization Management Director will be responsible for the planning, directing, and organizing of all administrative, financial, and managerial activities of the Care Management, discharge planning, utilization management, and social services departments. The Director of Care Management must have excellent communication skills and must be able to work collaboratively with numerous multidisciplinary hospital team members. The Nurse Director of UR will ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and private agencies as related to Case Management and Utilization Review.
