A global leader in surface treatment and finishing solutions for high-profile automotive companies is looking for a Production Scheduler to improve the efficiency of their manufacturing process. This company maintains a positive working environment and offers opportunity for extensive training and long-term advancement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze new and existing work orders
- Assign production jobs to work stations and coordinate processes
- Assign start date/time and end date/time for operations
- Ensure timely completion of production jobs
- Work in SAP and Excel to manage MRP/ERP systems
- Work directly with the Engineering Production Group that acts as a Check or verify system orders, inventory, and logistics
- Cross train and learn different areas to help support different planning/scheduling
- Fill in for Production Supervisor as needed
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with production scheduling
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems and knowledge of production planning around manufacturing
- Excel experience
- Leadership skills, including the ability to give direction and take ownership
- Written/verbal communication skills, computer skills
