Automation Personnel Services is currently looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician in the West Columbia Area.

Summary: Responsible for performing basic to intermediate repairs and maintenance of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems of industrial establishment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic to intermediate hydraulics and pneumatics.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of PLC.
Replace machine parts.
Change out pumps and motors.
Troubleshoot and maintain air compressor and plant chill water systems.
Maintain plant plumbing and electrical facilities.
Troubleshoot production equipment component failure.
Ability to use machine manuals and hard line drawing to maintain electrical and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and maintain CNC equipment with some supervision.
Troubleshoot variable frequency drives and motors with some supervision. Repair or replace as necessary with supervision.
Identify sensors to available parts on hand and repair or replace.
Performs Preventative Maintenance as required.
Maintain 5S in all maintenance and facility areas
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree in related field and 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
