We have an opportunity for a Senior Report Analyst. This role will be based in our office in Tacoma WA. In this critical role you will support the Optum Washington Heath Home program in select areas and provide reporting backup for additional teams. The person in this position is solely responsible for designing / developing, 'programming' and publishing operational reports. These reports cover the reporting and analysis for contract requirements, financial, budgetary and provider payment, care coordination, utilization and quality management, claims reconciliation, outcomes measures, and operational audits. This role requires a self - directed and creative person as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues.
 
As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Use your operational analytical skills to design / develop, program, maintain and publish reports
 Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with data analysis, tracking and trending, relational databases, and data management
2+ years of experience performing significant report development
Intermediate or greater level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
Intermediate level of programming knowledge (reporting code) and of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehousing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; analytical, methodological and organization skills
Preferred Qualifications:

BA / BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or a related fieldKnowledge of SQL and / or Crystal Reports or other reporting tools
Knowledge of math, accounting and / or financial principles
Netsmart Experience
Experience with healthcare data management in healthcare industry or behavioral health programs
