The Clinical Analytic Consultant is responsible for providing data-driven strategic insights, customized innovative analytic approaches and providing insightful management opportunities for strategic clients in a Prescription Benefit Management setting.

Primary Responsibilities:


Efficiently extract and manipulate pharmacy claim data for internal and external clients
Collaborate with the clinical account management team and other internal departments to support the analytic needs of one or more clients
Design, execute, and maintain advanced PBM analytics, conduct and evaluate trend analyses, and present clinical and financial opportunities based on analytic insights to clients
Use logic and analytic skills to perform client analyses in response to specific business questions and communicate the findings, including data sources, methodology, outcomes and recommendations

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics, conducting advanced analytic modeling for large claims databases with real - world application
3+ years of experience working with administrative pharmacy and medical claims data

3+ years of experience consulting with internal and external clients to drive insights and action from analytics
1+ year of experience working in PBM and /or managed care
Experience writing and executing code in SQL &/or SAS
1+ years of experience preparing and giving formal presentations to clients
Proficient computer skills including in Microsoft Outlook and Office
Ability to travel up to 20%
  
Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree:  Master’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Public Health, Health Economics or a related quantitative field

Consulting experience within a PBM
Experience working with State governments contracts or large employer groups
