About this job
Our 20-year-old son is on the Autism spectrum, and we need dependable, consistent care from 1:45 p.m. - 6 p.m. Mon-Fri, as the school schedule allows as well as holiday care. The job entails being here at our home in South Salinas for him to arrive on the school bus. You are to take him off the bus and escort him into the house, and help with bathroom needs as he is not able to care for himself. He is non-verbal, but he is vocal at times. He really enjoys old Disney movies and fishy crackers. He has a mild seizure disorder, also. The job in essence is to keep him safe and happy until we get home from work. There will be additional opportunities for hours during school vacations.
