Position Details
Accurately mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a prompt and efficient manner displaying the highest standard of guest service in accordance with the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service and Operations Standards.
Essential Functions:
- Greet guests appropriately, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner
- Provide prompt, efficient and courteous service to guests
- Engage guests in conversation
- Accurately mix and serve beverages to guests following drink recipes
- Ensure proper identification and age of guest prior to serving alcoholic beverages
- Serve alcohol responsibly; watch for signs of intoxication and follow proper procedures to discontinue service when necessary
- Ensure proper stock of all product and supplies needed for service
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and fellow associates
- Wash and sanitize all glassware and bar wares
- Maintain knowledge of the Point of Sale System
- Accurately complete all transactions (cash and non cash) and return accurate change to guests
- Obtain cash bank; verify accuracy at the beginning, end, and throughout a shift
- Balance revenue drop to end of shift reports
- Perform as a team member and assist fellow associates to ensure a smooth operation

- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill
- Complete other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- TiPS Certification
- One to three months related experience required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a West Virginia Greyhound Racing License
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of standard drink recipes required
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Must posses an outgoing and friendly personality
- Excellent Guest service abilities
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Handle money transactions
- Role model the GuestPath Universal Service Standards interacting positively through relationships with guests, fellow associates and members of the management team displaying genuine concern and mutual respect for people’s needs
- Understand the goals and vision of the organization and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance
Physical Requirements:
- Standing or walking 100% of the time in fast-paced and busy environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Environmental Working Conditions:
- Exposure to secondhand smoke
- Exposure to high volume noise
