Technician A - Coatings

• Performs set up for daily production
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains equipment
• Maintains production levels and quality of product
• Ensures that materials are moved in and out of the department
• Performs routine daily maintenance on equipment
• Maintains the proper inventory level on spare parts and materials
• Maintains a log of machine repairs
• Keeps all storage areas neat, clean, and orderly
• Follows all prescribed safety practices
• Stays abreast of new techniques
• Ensures that 6S' and safety rules and practices are followed in the department
• Oversees and trains junior technicians
