Title: Web Developer

Position Description:

Plans, develops, and deploys E-commerce websites including designing web architecture, code writing, and ensuring site functionality in a twenty-four hour, seven days a week environment. Builds interfaces and components that enhance the user experience and which fully comply with business requirements.

Participates in large development projects requiring in-depth knowledge of complex web-based programming languages. Creates and maintains accurate technical documentation and interpretation of Business Process Models.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a directly related field plus six (6) years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise e-commerce software and systems in a retail or corporate business operations environment.

Experience must include:
  • Experience in implementation of large scale e-commerce applications and systems that support corporate or retail operations.
  • 6+ years of front-end integration experience working with development teams on the deployment of web based applications (ATG Commerce, JAVA, J2EE).
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Javascript, AJAX, JSON, JQUERY (and other frameworks).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).
  • 2-3 years of experience in developing application components using ATG Adaptive Scenario Engine features such as Form Handlers, Droplets, Dynamo Servlet, Targeters, Dynamo Server Pages (DSP).
  • Understanding of ATG transactions and caching.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript, and multi-browser support.
  • Experience with web development technologies including: ATG Commerce APIs (DSP, Droplets, Repositories, Form Handlers, DSP Tag Library), JDBC, J2EE Servlets, Ajax, Java, and JavaServer Pages (JSPs).
  • Experience identifying and incorporating technical solutions during system design and architecture phases.
  • Experience with Web Technologies such as Adobe Test & Target, Adobe Analytics, Rich Relevance Product Recommendations, Ensighten Tag Management, Opinion Labs Website Feedback platform and Akamai CDN.
  • Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience including: Agile implementation principles and practices; version control management (Apache Subversion (SVN) or Concurrent Versions System (CVS); testing through presentation tier in portal environment using: JUit or xUnit frameworks; and production environment deployment and maintenance.
