Chemical Operator

Looking for an experienced chemical packager/chemical operator or related experience. Will be working on a rotating shift Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities will include the following:

-operating plant machinery and equipment

-opening and closing valves, monitoring instrumentation panels, reporting gauge readings

-dumping 10 kilogram bags or more of powdered chemicals into containers, utilize basic math skills and track and monitor plant data

-Will climb ladders, must be able to operate a sit down forklift

-Will wear full face respirator or Tyvek hood

-Weigh or measure quantities of specified solid and powder materials and dump them into heating vessels or blending tanks

-Observe chemical reactions, monitor temperature, pressure and vacuum levels
