And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) Positions in this function are responsible for on-boarding the medical benefits for new customers. This role is part of a small team of CPS claim experts that works directly with new customers to evaluate their prior benefits, pre-filling intent documents, then interviewing the customer to ensure we understand their true medical claim intent and reflect that in the installation documents role requires technical knowledge of CPS and the workflow around it. This position will directly interact with new customers as well as the entire UMR set of functions responsible for new customer set-up.They will also do production check-out with the customer, ensuring we properly captured their intent.Staffing is somewhat regional, aligned with claim office the customer will be serviced out of; however, expectation is they will assist with other offices as needed. Primary Responsibilities:Coordination and completion of projects across various functional areasProvides subject matter expertise in areas including
project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology,
resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on
established project management techniquesMakes presentations to management on project updates,
project cycle, and expected results. Ensures projects are completed on
time and in scopeMay manage vendor and service providers to define project scope and performance expectationsProject Management roles specific to a
particular functional area should be assigned to that family where
appropriate (e.g. IT Project Managers should be placed in the IT
Family)Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support a government
Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.Acts as a resource for others.Coordinates activities with others.Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage onboard medical benefits for new customersIdentifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgmentIdentify potential claim and/or customer service issues during implementation and create a plan to ensure risk is minimizedProvide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunitiesProvides expertise and customer service support to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

Requirements:High School Diploma/GED2+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems1+ year experience on UMR's claim payment system (CPS)Experience with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Preferred Requirements:Previous call center experienceMicrosoft PowerPoint experience (creating presentations)1+ year of Microsoft Excel experience (data entry, sorting/filtering, basic formulas and importing data to a spreadsheet)Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Frequent
speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers
across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working
