About this job

Design and develop test automation frameworks in testing for a medical device Laser treatment system, middleware, and GUI.
* Interpret product requirements into test requirements, writing test plans and test cases.
* Execute test cases and provide detailed analysis of test results.
* Collaboratively work with software developers to implement test hooks for automation.
* Contribute to the creation and revision of software development documents including: Software Development Plan, Software Architecture & Design, new product specification, Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Risk/Hazard Analysis, software requirement traceability matrix, software build instructions
* Contribute to the creation and revision of software validation documents including: Software Test Plan, software test procedures, test reports, Work Instructions
* Initiate document Change Notices and route for approvals in Agile or WindChill.
* Provide excellent communication and organization skills during audits and other activities for locating documents, records, or other information and for ensuring audit-readiness.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
* 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in software development in Python.
* Creating test automation frameworks.
* 2+ years of technical documentation experience in the medical device industry.
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in software quality assurance.
* Experience in Bug tracking Jira, Source Code Control Accurev, Requirement Management Cockpit
* Experience in setting up and maintaining Jenkins or any other continuous integration tools.
* Comfortable in AGILE development environments and cross-functional team structures.
