CERTIFIED Pesticide Applicator Sprayer

As a holder of a State of Maryland Pest Control Applicator Certification you will be given a higher pay rate than the non-certified technicians.

Applicator Technicians primary responsibilities are providing superior customer service and must be able to adhere to Mosquito Squad best practices for controlling targeted pest, safety procedures, daily product mixing, understand customer's pest issues, maintaining application documentation and work orders. Troubleshooting equipment and service issues as they arise in the field.

Qualifications Requirements

Must be legally qualified to work in the United States

Must be able to life a minimum of 60 lbs

Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record

Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work

Must possess customer communication/service skills

Must be able to wear full protection gear while applications occur

Must have a positive attitude

Job Duties

Apply pesticides

Apply larvacide packets

Maintain clean vehicle

Monitor vehicle needs (oil, tire pressure, etc...)

Maintain gasoline levels

Ensure proper oil to gas ratio in gas cans

Maintain and document all receipts for gas purchases

Ensure security of all work related equipment

Provide accurate invoices for customers

Ensure customers receive lawn application signs

Ensure the safety of people and wildlife in proximity to chemical application

Help Maintain customer expectations

Always wear proper protective clothing

Work independently and work as a team
