Job Description
-Facilitates administration of recruiting, benefits and employee relations.
-Provides information on human resource policies and procedures.
-Ensures required documentation is accurate and consistent with guidelines and company policies.
-Coordinates recruitment and placement activities.
-Coordinates content and placement of employment advertising
-Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager and coordinates interview process
-Coordinates pre-hire and on-boarding process.
-Initiates background and reference checking process.
-Compiles new hire documentation and facilitates completion.
-Responds to team members with information about specific human resource programs and services.
-Advises employees, prospective employees on eligibility for programs or services
-Provides information regarding related policies according to guidelines and established procedures.
-Provides research and background information to facilitate administration and delivery of employee benefits.
-Meets with and assists employees in completing relevant forms including benefit enrollment, FMLA, 401 K. and Cobra, as well as ensuring that forms are accurate and complete.
-Resolves employee questions and responds to questions from leadership team.
-Interacts with vendors, agencies, carriers and other third parties to facilitate processing, to distribute benefit information and to submit required documentation.
-Processes documents necessary to implement various programs and maintains confidential records.
-Facilitates performance review process and follows up on outstanding reviews.
-Recommends process improvements to create efficient departmental procedures.
-Maintains confidential departmental records and files.
-Researches information, compiles statistics, and gathers data or creates reports.
-Assists with special reports and projects.
-Provides administrative support as needed.
-Assists supervisor in areas of responsibility during periods of peak volume or absence.

• Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively; Listens and gets clarification when necessary; Responds informatively to questions
• Written Communication - Writes clearly and concisely; Edits work; Varies writing style to meet specific needs; Presents data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information
• Professionalism - Maintains confidentiality. Approaches others in a polite and tactful manner; Maintains composure and reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments.
• Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently :Plans for additional resources; Sets goals and objectives
• Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness: Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.
• Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands;Changes approach or method to best fit the situation: Able to deal with occasional change, delays, or unexpected events.
• A minimum of three years experience in human resource management and some college or human resource certification required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
