Heavy Industrial Electrician

Job Summary: A growing Madison County client is looking for Heavy Industrial Electricians to join their team. The Electrician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and inspecting plant electrical systems and electronic control equipment. Will safely work with 600 AC volts, DC 250 VDC, switchgears, transformers, meters, regulators and reactors by reading and interpreting drawings, codes and diagrams. Will also perform maintenance and repair work on electrical equipment including motors, generators, switchgear equipment, and lighting and power circuits.

Qualifications: Must have Journeyman level electrical and instrumentation training as well as 4+ years of experience. Working knowledge of soldering, braising, acetylene cutting torch, and light/heavy tools required. Must have current knowledge of safety precautions working around 4180+ volts. Must be able to stand on un-level, slippery and varying elevations, kneel for differing amounts of time, lift up to 83 lbs., climb up to 56 ft., crouch, bend, crawl and ride a bicycle.
