Position Summary:

The Non-Core Driver (Seasonal) is responsible for the land application of agricultural by-products. The Non-Core Driver also ensures that safety and truck equipment is maintained, helps to maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, follows route instructions and completes necessary paperwork as assigned.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Performs complete pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy including, but not limited to, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls and reports any safety issues on standard reports.

• Drives tractor-trailer truck and/or spreader truck to and from customer locations and performs land application methods.

• Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers, supervisors and others on a daily basis to ensure all duties are performed and completed in a timely and professional manner.

• Completes required route/productivity sheets, Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) and other forms.

• Performs all driver check-in procedures upon returning to the facility at the end of the day.

• Follows all safety

policies and procedures.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial trucks.

• Experience with application equipment (truck mounted and pull type).

• Class A Commercial Driver’s license.

Qualifications:

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license.
