About this job



Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, climb stairs, reach with arms and hands.


Must be able to lift and move 10 - 30 lbs on a periodic basis.


Must be able to use close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus ability for examining product.


Must be able to work in heat and noise.


Must be able to work on feet for an 8 -- 12 hour workday on any shift.


Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.


Ability to work in a fast paced environment.


Must be able to maintain regular attendance based on production schedule requirements.


Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of this team-oriented organization.


Identify, coordinate, administer and update the training of each associate per current SOP to improve productivity and quality.


Multi-task several different assignments simultaneously with various levels of knowledge within manufacture.


Supervise quality of output, gives feedback and makes timely adjustments.


Interpret and coordinate the daily production requirements.


Ensures all paperwork is verified, completed and signed off accurately.


Ensure required job rotation is practiced.


Ensure proper escalation of all downtime, quality, and associate issues.


Data entry of daily production.


Inspect parts along with quality control to ensure compliance with quality requirements.


Monitor all critical processes to ensure product quality, process stability and operating levels.


Ensures team members keep their work area neat and clean (5S).


Inform next shift on job requirements, criteria, and work instructions as required.


Based on schedules, make sure that all components are available for the next shift.


Maintain proper labor utilization for schedule completion and meet or exceed efficiency parts per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and basic math, reading, and reading comprehension skills. • 1 year team leader experience is preferred. • Good interpersonal, communication and computer skills. • Possess good problem solving and reasoning skills. • Demonstrated know-how on all paperwork. • Passes drug screening and background check. • Previous team leader experience preferred. • Able to lead by example, take action and teach team members. • Knowledge of SOP’s. • Encourage teamwork and display a professional attitude at all times. • Practice continuous improvement (5S). • Adaptable to the changing daily production requirements. • Practice safety at all times.
