About this job
A dietary aide is required to provide assistance in all Dietary functions in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations as well as the facility's established policies and procedures to assure that residents' individual Dietary needs are met and maintained.
Duties include, but are not limited to
- Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room, etc. as instructed
- Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, and on a timely basis
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
- Assist in checking diet trays before distribution
- Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas
- Serve food in dining room, as instructed
