Our Exciting Work Environment

Open seasonally from April to October. The Lodgepole Market and Gift Shop offers visitors a full grocery store in addition to a choice selection of outdoor equipment, grab-and-go trail snacks, deli sandwiches, national park souvenirs, and more.

 

 

Responsibilities

Report to duty on time, well groomed and in proper uniform

Responsible for filling orders and assisting in transporting them to the outlying locations

Assisting with shipping and receiving and processing internet sales

Observe and follow proper radio procedures

Observe and follow proper vehicle procedures and inspections

Pick up any required materials or supplies needed by the operations that the managers have requested and approved

Check all in coming product according to the invoices to ensure what is received complies with the billing and that the product is in good condition

Transporting grease barrels to the rendering plant

Maintaining the recycling program, collect cardboard

Assist in quartly Inventories, weekly cycle counts (section counts) to ensure inventory control

Inform supervisor of any low or over abundance in stock

Ensures that all work areas are neat clean and organized with strong attention to safety

Follow all DNCPR-Sequoia, Environmental Greenpath program, GuestPath service program, NPS and OSHA policies and procedures

Performs any other duties that may be required or directed by Management

 

Qualifications

Must have 1 to 2 years warehouse experience

Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Ability to read a map

Excellent communication skills

Computer Knowledge

Security background preferred

Experience receiving data entry system, inventory

Must posses basic math skills and have the ability to handle counts accurately

Must have the ability to carry and lift up to 55 pounds and stand all day.

HIRING WILL BEGIN IN MARCH AND CONTINUE THRU THE SEASON. WITH ALL SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT ENDING IN OCTOBER
