Position Details

The Lead Dishwasher assists the Executive Steward and Lead Cooks in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all food and beverage venue, in accordance with Company’s GreenPath, GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to obtain an Arkansas Racing License.

Essential Functions:

• Supervises the activities of all dishwashers to ensure that breaks occur in a timely manner
• Trains new and existing associates, under the direction of management
• Handles disciplinary matters and ensures quality employee performance
• Ensures quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of Chinaware, Glassware and silverware to the different locations.
• Ensure clean pots, pans and other cooking containers and utensils are ready and available when needed.
• Respond to all requests in an efficient and timely manner.
• Maintain the coolers, freezers in a clean and sanitary conditions.
• Reports all maintenance issues to the Executive Steward.
• Keeps work area and equipment neat and clean all the time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to and enforces inventory and labor control measures; performs inventory counts as requested.

Non-essential Functions:

• Cleans food & beverage outlets as assigned.
• Ensure that all trash in the kitchen is removed and does not overflow
• Empties trash containers and delivers trash to appropriate dumpsters if needed

Education & Experience:

• Dishwashing experience needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must be pleasant, courteous with ability to adhere to the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others

• Basic math skills for counting inventory
• Ability to follow job procedures and supervisor instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 165 lbs.
• Ability to pull or push heavy carts of stock throughout facility
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift

Environmental Working Conditions:

• Dish room/ kitchen environment, noise level may be moderate to high
• Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season
• Exposed to fumes from cooking or steam for dish machines or equipment.
