Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a HR Generalist Support for a contract opportunity in Washington, MO with our partner, an energy industry leader committed to creating innovative and sustainable solutions that move the world forward. Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm 

Job Duties

  • Assist the Human Resource Manager with day to day HR functions
  • Responsible for administering corporate and local human resource policies and procedures.
  • Act as an employee advocate and as a company representative in balancing company policy, process, and culture, with employee needs
  • Assists the HR Manager with conducting employee relations investigations, consulting with management and coordinating resolution of approved actions
  • Coordinates the recruiting, interviewing and hiring processes and assists with new hire on-boarding.
  • Maintaining the time keeping system (Kronos) and processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll
  • Benefits administration at a local level in conjunction with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Report generation
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Maintains training records
  • Responsible for employee uniform program including resolving all issues
  • Maintain and monitor hourly performance review process
  • Monitor and order for vending system.
  • Perform various administrative duties in support of HR Manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Three to five years experience in HR Generalist activities, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the area of Employee Relations Knowledge of Federal and State Employment Law
  • Must possess strong problem solving sills and be detail oriented
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively deal with all levels of management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • SAP experience a plus
