Aerotek is actively seeking reliable professionals to work for one of our leading clients in the Harrington region. This client specializes in the Auto Loan Industry and are looking for customer service representatives to work in their collections and investigations department. While applicable experience of the loan industry is preferred, the client is open to those of all backgrounds including retail or other forms of customer service either in person or over the phone. Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours and have stable job history.

Pay Rate: $13.50 - $14.00 an hour plus health benefits

Must have:
-some type of relative customer service experience, preferred to have both face to face and phone experience
-team player attitude
-work ethic

-Ability to problem solve, which is crucial for someone to be successful in the role.
-Ability to remain calm and collected in tough customer service situations
-Computer skills


Day to day:
This person will start out in the department that conducts thorough research regarding delinquent accounts and actually files loss claims. Eventually they be become an account manager and will have their own portfolio of customers they deal with. They will be taking calls and placing calls all day every day. These calls could deal with: late payments, questions on payments, follow up calls on repossessions. They have an internal system they use to write notes on each account and follow up with teammates as necessary.

Types of collection calls:
1. courtesy calls = 2-7 days past due
2. collection calls = 8-15 days past due
3. daily collection calls = 16+ days past due


Their goal is to maximize incoming cash flow on each contract by: Accessing each account to determine the most profitable way to collect, reducing risk of loans to company and be the first to identify red flags.
