Accounting Manager Summary

PrideStaff Financial, a national staffing system specializing in accounting and finance opportunities, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager for a highly recognized healthcare conglomerate here in the valley. In this challenging and important role, the chosen candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of accurate financial information fo the GL and financial statements. Part of the Accounting Manager's responsibility is supporting the fiscal planning, reporting, attainment of strategic goals and objectives of the organization.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities

• As part of the accounting management team, the Accounting Manager will direct the GL reporting functions effectively.
• Interface with other medical departments
• Develop monthly consolidated financial statements
• Work in collaboration with the Controller and additional leadership in the maintenance of the accounting stems that support the GL
• Implement and improve internal processes for the accounting department
• Prepare/review organizational journal entries on an accurate and timely basis
• Assist in the development and meeting of short/long term operational plans
• Perform reviews and prepare analyses of financial and operational activities as requested by management

Accounting Manager Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master's Degree is preferred)
• Active CPA Certification is a requirement
• 6 years minimum accounting experience
• 2 years minimum healthcare experience
• Strong proficiency in problem solving, as well as, excellent verbal and written communications skills
• 2 years of supervisory experience is a plus
