Injection Mold Process Technician
Up to $23.00 DOE
Looking to work with a locally owned company that does not take directions from a corporation across the country or even the ocean. This growing company is adding (2) Injection Mold Process Technicians to facilitate their expanding product mix
Purpose:
The Injection Mold Process Technician is responsible for setting up the injection molding machines to the defined process specification while minimizing scrap and down time. Assist in the manufacturing operation on a daily basis, producing the highest quality product in a safe environment at the lowest cost.

Some of the duties performed by the Injection Mold Process Technician are:

Purpose:
The Injection Mold Process Technician is responsible for setting up the injection molding machines to the defined process specification while minimizing scrap and down time. Assist in the manufacturing operation on a daily basis, producing the highest quality product in a safe environment at the lowest cost.
Job Duties:
Some of the duties performed by the Injection Mold Process Technician are:
- Monitor & record mold cavitation on all machines daily
- Provide technical support to shift for trouble shooting and problem resolution
- Ensure equipment and processes meet and sustain standard production outputs
- Monitor & record mold performance in order to recommend the best mold and machine combination
- Re-adjust machine to correct product flaws while following the process specification.
- Test and evaluate resins for optimum application
- Maintain and improve upon existing manufacturing practices for the manufacture of finished goods and provide ideas and corrective actions for ongoing manufacturing issues to improve quality or customer satisfaction.
- Work with and assist maintenance; making sure all guards are in place and adding additional guards as needed to assure that all parts are falling in the middle of the conveyor belt.
- Keep updated setup process sheets at machines at all times.
- Maintain the highest quality and fastest cycle on all machines at all times.
- Suggest information or procedures that will contribute to the improvement of the entire process.
- Replace and repair parts as needed.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in work areas.
- Troubleshoot machine and process problems correctly and in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Attention to detail and organization is critical.Must have knowledge of statistical process development, configuring, setting and hanging of molds.
