Aerotek Scientific is currently seeking a Quality Control Supervisor for our client in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills as well as prior leadership experience in a QA/QC capacity.
Job Duties
- Supervise Quality Control technicians to ensure that products being packed for shipment meet specified requirements. Ensure that Current Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs) have been followed and that any defects are discovered and corrected before product shipment.
- Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
- Oversee equipment, supplies, and inventory, following applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Review batch records for accuracy, and participate in any investigations and problem resolutions (root cause analysis).
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred but not required.
- Must have at least three years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control (QA/QC), preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Prior industry experience in food and beverage, nutraceutical, or dietary supplement production is highly preferred.
- Must have the ability to supervise and lead multiple technical professionals and communicate across multiple departments.
- Fluency in multiple languages is desirable.
- Experience with testing equipment including friability, disintegration, and hardness testers is preferred but not required.
