Part-Time Sales Representative

Aerotek's client is seeking Part-Time Sales Representatives for their commercial lighting showroom. The ideal candidate will be open to a part-time schedule, three days during the work week from 9:00am-5:00pm, and must work every Saturday from 9:00am-3:00pm.

Job Description:
1. Greet walk-in customers and offer assistance.
2. Familiarize the customers with the products in the showroom.
3. Demonstrate how to turn the lights on and off in the showroom.
4. Explain the product information that is located on the lighting tags, (dimensions, weight, number and wattage of bulbs, sizes, etc).
5. Advise the client on different finishes and sizes of the product, especially bathrooms and exterior lights.
6. Learn the products in the catalogs:
7. Become familiar with various items offered by the manufacturer.
8. Learn the department's input codes and computer tasks to perform the job and handle data entry into the internal database.

Maintenance & Administrative Duties:
1. Hang price tags on the products.
2. Keep all surfaces clean and clear of clutter, no counter top in the showroom should have misplaced items on them.
3. Fill paper in all the printers and machines in the showroom.
4. Change light bulbs in the showroom as needed.
5. Maintain a tidy office environment and clean up the display spaces for the showroom.
6. Help the full time coworkers when needed.
