A client of mine is looking to add an Electronics Technician to their company. You would be working in a hands-on environment as a member of cross-functional engineering teams supporting the development of new products. You will work with some of the best engineers in the industry and can be involved in the product development process from initial concept, through the development, testing and manufacturing phases. Project work involves extensive design verification testing on analog and digital circuits, software testing, prototyping, troubleshooting, printed circuit board design and assisting in transitioning designs from engineering into manufacturing.

The daily responsibilities for this role will consist of:will be working within the Engineering Lab support compatibility testing between lighting control products and the secondary lighting market. This could include customer or supplier requested testing.Main areas of support include; setting up simple to complex 3rd party lighting systems and evaluating lighting performance/compatibility with the controls systems; evaluate for systems, sound, and visual performance. Project work involves: setting up testing for product and making pass/fail decisions on performance for controllers. Depending on lighting compatibility this could include running the same testing on 1-26 different control systems. Final data is then communicated to the supplier or customer to report on lighting compliance. Systems failures could include lighting systems buzzing, flickering, shimmering, or not interacting at a system level. Will use O-Scopes, Multimeters, Light Scopes.

To be qualified for this opportunity, we are seeking someone with the following;
- Associates degree in Electronics with at least a 3.0 GPA
- Hands on experience with electronics
- Strong interest in fabrication, testing, circuits, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Experience with Digital Multimeters and Oscilloscopes
- Software experience is a plus - Must have Electrical Safety experience
