Job Title: Electrical Apprentice
Job Type: 3 month contract with potential for extensions and additional projects
Job Rate: $18/hr
Job Description:
Aerotek has MULTIPLE OPENINGS for 5-10 Electrical Apprentices to support a solar project out of Columbus, New Mexico. Columbus is about 1 1/2 hours from Las Cruces and El Paso. This project will take about 3 months to complete. Upon successful completion, candidates may have the opportunity to work on one of a couple other sites.
- Will be working with small crew under a Journeyman Electrician
- Will use tools to test all connections and make sure panels are hooked up and wired correctly
- Rewiring and fixing as needed/instructed by leads
- Perform other construction job duties as necessary
Requirements:

1+ year experience working under Journeyman electrician
- Electrical knowledge of testing and commissioning
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Reliability and ready to listen and learn
- **Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check**
- OSHA 10 card
Schedule:
Work begins at 6:00am SHARP (must be on site, PPE ready)
4-10 hour shifts with Fridays off
Monday-Thursday 6:00am-5:00pm with 1 hour lunch
