Lead Mold Maker - Full-time / Part-time

This is a skilled level mold maker job requiring demonstrated skill in providing support for production. Should be able to perform fitting and assembling molds, programming and set-ups create close tolerance mold components and fixtures on Bridgeport mills, lath and surface grinders. Being proficient in CAD/CAM and CNC programming a plus but not required. The qualified candidate must be able to work in a highly technical machine shop with a team of skilled mold makers and machinist.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and REQUIREMENTS

• 10 + years of experience in mold building and/or machining experience
• Working knowledge of plastic injection molds
• Basic computer/software operation capability such as MS Windows & MS Office application is a plus but not required.
• Read and interpret work and safety instructions, both verbal and written.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Promotes a team work environment.
• Consistent good attendance.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Willingness and ability to work OT if workload or meeting delivery date requires so
• Must supply own hand tools
• Minimum of HS Diploma or GED equivalent
