Guest Orientation and Purpose:

Reports all pertinent information to the Team Leader / Lead Officer

Follows delegated tasks as assigned by the Team Leader / Lead Officer or as stated by policy

Performs all duties as trained and adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and FCC regulations

Adheres to Park Attendance Policy as stated in the Team Member Handbook

Completes incident reports to accurately account for Security calls for service within the park

Complete confiscated item list

Other Functions:

Must be able to successfully obtain State of Texas Security licensure

Other duties as assigned

Provides in-park patrol and security response. Assist with screening guests at the front turnstile / metal detectors

Scope of Responsibilities:

Answers in-park radio calls as dispatched from Security Base

Screen guests entering the park by using the metal detectors

Complies with all Safety and Fire responsibilities, policies, and procedures

Provides in-park escorts for cash control or vehicle traffic

Maintains a clean and safe working environment

Reports all pertinent information to the Team Leader / Lead Officer

Follows delegated tasks as assigned by the Team Leader / Lead Officer or as stated by policy

Performs all duties as trained and adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and FCC regulations

Adheres to Park Attendance Policy as stated in the Team Member Handbook

Completes incident reports to accurately account for Security calls for service in the park

Must have a valid State drivers license and successfully complete Park Drivers Training Program

Guest Orientation and Purpose:

Provides parking lot patrol, monitors vendors / employee entrance, employee metal detection screening, assists with guest screening, and security station duties

Scope of Responsibilities:

Answers parking lot radio calls as dispatched from Security Base

Screen guests entering the park by using the metal detectors

Monitors traffic (vehicles / pedestrians) entering and leaving the Security Station

Provides emergency escorts for off property / outside agency emergency vehicles

Complies with all Safety and Fire responsibilities, policies, and procedures

Maintains a clean and safe working environment

Monitor employee metal detection

Assists other security areas with staffing needs as deemed necessary by Security Management

Reports all pertinent information to the Team Leader / Lead Officer

Follows delegated tasks as assigned by the Team Leader / Lead Officer or as stated by policy

Performs all duties as trained and adheres to Standard Operating Procedures and FCC regulations

Adheres to Park Attendance Policy as stated in the Team Member Handbook

Completes incident reports to accurately account for Security calls for service in the parking lot and at the security station

Directing traffic in the parking lot, vehicle accident reporting, follow-up, monitor pedestrian traffic

Factors

Substantiating Data

Education

Must possess a High School Diploma and be at least 18 years of age.

Experience

Previous Security experience is preferred, but not required.

Complexity Of Duties

Must have good oral and written communication skills and must have good conflict resolution skills. Must be skilled at situational analysis and decision making.

Supervision

Supervised directly by a Security Team Leader / Lead Officer

Errors/Safety

Risk of injury is minimal. Risk may increase during intervention with Guests and Employees who are in highly emotional situations, or those situations when forced to act in law enforcement related capacity.

Contact With Others

Constant communication with Guests and Employees. Must be able to work alone if necessary.

Minimally exposed to confidential data.

Visual and Mental Demand

Requires normal visual and mental demand.

Physical Demand

Requires continuous standing, walking, near vision and color definition. Requires frequent bending, reaching above the shoulder, and manual dexterity. Requires occasional pushing, pulling, and stepping up / down. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds. May be required to assist in transport of injured guests who are on stretchers. Must be able to use necessary force for self-defense and detention of persons. Must be able to carry a flashlight, and radio. Must not be afraid of heights.

Working Conditions

Continuously works inside and outside. Is exposed to all weather conditions. Frequently works closely with others. Frequently works alone. Regularly deals with Guests and Employees who are angry, upset, emotional, or in need of assistance.
