CNC Programmer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

• Programs and controls CNC lathes and material processing equipment to safely produce components to customer, quality, and productivity specifications.
• Troubleshooting CNC lathe equipment to keep running.
• Working with Engineering department to access blueprints; design sketches; measuring devices to ensure the proper program is loaded.
• May be required to meet certain certifications in a specialized area and have years of experience.
• Familiar with a variety of machining concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
• Directs, trains, and leads the work of others.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 3 years' experience of CNC programming(working on lathes) they have Mori Seikis and Mazaks
• Must Have programming using Gibbscam, or Mastercam,
• Must be able to interpret blueprints
• Must have to be able to troubleshoot and keep equipment running
• Must have experience working with other operators

Performance Expectations:

• Oversee the machining department.
• Accessing prints from engineering and getting machines programmed and ready to run for machine operators.
• Handling/troubleshooting machine breakdowns or when machines aren't running correctly.

$25-$30/hr
