Tire Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Tire Technician needed for 2 different types of positions. One will work in a shop setting working on customer vehicles. The second will work in a manufacturing setting on new production vehicles.

Strong mechanical inclination needed as well as ability to work independently and as a team. Looking for candidates with the desire to learn more roles and more skills within the given facility.

-Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply
-Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels
-Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks
-Remount wheels onto vehicles
-Locate punctures in tubeless tires by visual inspection or by immersing inflated tires in water baths and observing air bubbles.
-Unbolt wheels from vehicles and remove them, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.
-Reassemble tires onto wheels
-Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects
-Hammer required counterweights onto rims of wheels
-Rotate tires to different positions on vehicles, using hand tools
-Cleaning, unloading tire truck, keep inventor in place

1st and 2nd shift

$10-$14 per hour depending on experience
