EXECUTIVE SALES ASSISTANT - Alpharetta, GA

Employment Type: Temp-to-permanent

The Executive Sales Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service internally and externally. This person will report directly to and support the Senior Vice President as well as the Account Managers and Customers on the Senior Vice President’s team. The Executive Sales Assistant will act as a liaison for the Executive Vice President and will work directly with other company employees, customers, business partners, and vendors to provide pricing, customer support and superior communication to ensure prompt delivery of products and services to customers and end users. The Executive Sales Assistant must show a proven record of Executive Support and Sales Support.

Job Functions:
  • Under Sr. VP’s direction, provides customers with product quotes and follows up with customers concerning these.
  • Handle customer correspondence for Sr. VP including personal emails, blast emails and distribution of marketing information.
  • Updates Sr. VP by consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily numbers reports.
  • Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying Sr. VP.
  • Resolves pricing issues by researching details including regular and special pricing with Purchasing Manager; forwarding information to Sr. VP.
  • Provides product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer request; selecting appropriate information; forwarding information; answering questions.
  • Handles evaluation units by entering evaluation sales orders, arranging shipment; notifying customer.
  • Maintains contact management database for Sr. VP by inputting customer updates.
  • Prepares sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats and/ or proposal materials.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Education and Skill Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office and Data Entry Skills – Word, Excel & Power Point.
  • Contact Management Software Experience.
  • Customer focus and ability to understand the customer.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Previous sales assistance preferred.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
