Ralph Lauren is looking for a qualified SharePoint Developer to advance its global Sharepoint 2010 intranet portal and mobile platform. Work with a skilled team of technical and creative individuals to evolve our Employee communication platform. Participate in agile development practices to produce content pages and features for the companys global workforce. Help to articulate and build Ralph Laurens intranet portal roadmap.
Responsibilities & Scope:Developing technical solutions that align to the Companys strategic goals and objectives for employee communications and engagement
Discovery, design, development, testing and deployment of new content pages, features and functionality
Solve complex business problems using technical skills, creativity and ability to integrate third party software solutions within the SharePoint portal
Partner with a team of technical and non-technical resources to develop valuable tools and content for divisions and departments within the Company
Ensure content is developed to correct specifications and successfully launched using SharePoint, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Continuously research, confirm and incorporate new approaches and tools to grow platform value
Requirements
Education & CertificationsBachelors Degree Preferred or Equivalent Experience
3+ years of active SharePoint development experience
5+ years .NET development experience
Knowledge & Experience
Demonstrated problem solving skills needed to maintain stable code and content deployments on the platform
Design Patterns & Methodologies & Ideal Practices for SharePoint
Proficient in the creation of SharePoint solutions WSPs
Ability producing web-ready graphics (slicing, optimizing)
Able to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
Able to manage other resource workloads and evaluate launch timelines
Familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator software packages
Familiar email template setup
Familiar with tracking software such as Omniture and Google Analytics
