Non-union Maintenance Mechanic opening at premier Bearings Company in Downers Grove, IL. Work schedule is 7am-3pm Monday thru Friday with possibility of weekend work as needed. This is a 3-6 month temp to perm opportunity. .
Industry: Manufacturing.
Duties: Constructs, repairs, alters and adjusts a wide variety of tools, jigs, fixtures, die sets, production and non-production machine components, involving such operations as layout an bench work, machining, welding checking, assembling and disassembling. Work consists of a wide variety of highly intricate tooling including progressive dies, combination dies with irregular aperatures, subpresses of precise dimensional relationships, piercing, blanking and forming tools of varied shapes, fixtures and jigs with a number of closely limited and complex interrelated components, precision master tool and master gauges with unusual contours, etc. May participate in development and construction of special purpose mechanisms and machines requiring exce.
