CAREGiver

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical and personal care services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.  No previous experience is necessary; skills training is provided by Home Instead Senior Care.

This is a PART-TIME position and CAREGivers must be able to commit to consistent weekly availability of 12 – 25 hours. Hourly pay starts in the range of $8.50 - $9.25.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s care
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Incidental transportation

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, as well as their own personal vehicle
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Display a high degree of professionalism and reliability
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Ability to commit to 12 - 25 hours per week on a regular basis
