General Responsibilities:

Job Purpose:

The Rental Management Liaison works with Insurance and outside companies to manage rental life in accordance with prescribed contract standards. The Liaison is responsible for producing a high quality of work while ensuring production standards are in accordance with departmental expectations.

Key Result Areas:
  • Use a 3rd party website to obtain rental coverages, authorizations and extensions
  • Handle inquiries from insurance adjusters as well as operations
  • Administer proper documentation to effectively communicate information to Hertz personnel regarding status of rental contracts
  • Update Hertz system as well as the 3rd party website
  • Handle all inquiries from insurance company as well as operations
  • Act as back up for other liaisons when assistance is needed
  • Report any problems/issues (i.e. system issues, work flows, etc ) to ensure continuous improvement and high level customer service is sustained
  • Maintain departmental production standards on a daily basis
  • Pass all quality audits within scope of departmental and insurance company standards
  • Ensure all rentals are managed in accordance with contractual standards
  • Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with contacts
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activities
  • Respond to inquiries within 24 hours to maintain highest level of customer service
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Telephone contact experience in a business/office environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis Excel and Word)
  • Demonstrates ability to work well with others.

Preferred Requirements :
  • Hertz Local Edition experience preferred
  • Insurance business experience preferred
