Staff Nurse (RN) - Part-time

Personal Care Agency has an immediate opening for a Staff Nurse (Full-Time or Part-Time)
We are a leading provider of Personal Care services in the Atlanta area for the past 21 years. We are experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a dynamic STAFF NURSE to manage our quality in-home care services to our clients.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES of our STAFF NURSE
Directs, initiates, and implements a patient care plan in a home care environment.
Assesses and supervises the delivery of home care services by field staff
Provides in-home supervision of home care cases
Updates care plans during supervisory visits
Assists with orienting and training employees
Enforces and demonstrates 100% compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations
Performs a variety of tasks not otherwise listed
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Work with team members who share your passion
Reports to the business owner
 
Knowledge and Skills:

1. Minimum of four years nursing experience. Previous home care/hospice experience preferred
2. Current State of Georgia RN license required
3. Possesses an understanding of home care regulations and agency policies and procedures
4. Possesses strong nursing assessment and decision making skills
5. Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a flexible environment
6. Ability to handle stressful situations/deadlines
7. Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
8. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with team members  
9. Require vehicle with current registration and drivers permit
