Work youll Do
As a Manager within our Business Model Transformation team, you will:
  • Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
  • Actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships
  • Streamline and improve service delivery excellence leveraging effective and efficient practices
  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process
  • Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans
  • Manages day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team
  • Displays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues
  • Displays leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
  • Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process
  • Focus on managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business
  • Lead business development initiatives to grow the Business Model Transformation team and the Federal practice
  • Manage resources and budget on client projects
  • Manage work-streams or small teams on Federal shared services or service delivery transformation related projects

  • Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions to help agencies transform their delivery of services.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other business-related field
  • 6+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • 2+ years in a technical or functional lead role
  • Experience mentoring and coaching others
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience managing senior-level client relationships
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance for this role
Preferred:
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Experience leading a large scale shared services implementation
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree
  • PMP certifications or eligible for certification within first six months
  • Experience transforming/improving federal mission support/back-office functions through consolidation, outsourcing, shared services or centers of excellent (e.g., finance, information technology, human resources, procurement, grants management, etc.)
